I imagine you as a high school cheerleader- Blonde, beautiful, sexy, leggy, confidant and flirty. I'm the geek girl in the back of the class who half hopes you see her, is half glad you don't bother her.

Then, one day:
"Oh, hey, weird girl. I'm having a party this Friday after the game. How about you show up? Here's the address."
"Okay! Cool, thanks!"
Only to show up, and the address is wrong.
On Monday, "Oh, sorry, it was this address. We really missed seeing you there."

Part of me wonders if I was intentionally given a bad address. Part of me wonders if the only reason I was invited was for "entertainment". Part of me is really hoping you're being sincere. Another part of me wants to kill that last part.

I'm scared to put myself up for the kind of hurt and humiliation you've put me through before. But I really like the way things feel when you smile at me.

Thank you all for the thoughts and support yesterday. I was overdue for a depressive fit/minor breakdown. I just needed some time to myself. A good cry and a long nap and I was right as rain.
